HAMILTON HIGHLIGHTS IN FENERBAHÇE’S THRASHING OF FETHIYE

Johnny Hamilton had a huge game for Istanbul club Fenerbahçe Beko, scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and a block in 22 minutes of playing time in a 113-74 victory over Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediye Spor in the Basketbol Süper Ligi this morning.

With double dose of Euroleague action coming up in the week, head coach Igor Kokoškov rested some of his starters in this morning’s domestic league matchup to give some of the bench players some more playing time, and Hamilton made the most of the added workload.

Hamilton set screens, he drew a charge, he protected the rim, he was active in the paint, and he was proficient in his scoring around the basket, with a 70% FG percentage. He also was 4-5 at the FT line.

Hamilton also had the play of the game when he put Fethiye big man Ibrahim Yildirim on a poster:

This performance comes off an 4 point, 4 rebound performance in the Istanbul Derby against Anadolu Efes in Euroleague on Thursday. Hopefully with this performance, coach Koskoškov plays him more minutes in the upcoming games.
